My favorite part of applying makeup my eyes. Eye makeup is the most important part of any look you desire to accomplish. Done right, they can make a more difference to your appearance and really make your eyes stand out. So that you want striking and bold looking eyes smokey or even formal looking eyes, there are several ways of achieving the look you want in simple steps.

Applying eye makeup:
One of my favorites is the smokey eye looking. With any of the looks, I recommend using a primer or eye makeup base performance , as it will last for much longer. Starting by applying light colored eye shadow, you can use any color, but i guess brown and grays look a lot nicer for smokey eyes of you. Then choose another couple of lighter brown or grays, and smudge them in. Finish by adding a lighter color on bottom lid. Use a best clean brush to lightly smudge it outwards to avoid any harsh lines.
How to apply eyeliner:
Take a liquid eyeliner or pencil and use it to make a nice even line to your eyes, but add a little eye shadow so it's in keeping with the smudged effect. Then finish with good volume using mascara. I like to use several coats, to make my eyes appear much larger. But avoid smudging it. Again, like with most makeup software, preparation and time is the key. It doesn't take long to make progress towards a look like this but take your time.
As for eye color, try and go for a contrasting look. For example, oranges, gold's and rusty hues are perfect for blue eyes. Having said that browns, golds & even plums are nice for brown eyes. Some hazel colored eyes can look different colors, (like mine) so make sure to work out what color your eyes are before choosing your eye shadow.
